Loss of a Fellow Photographer - 09-10-2010, 06:18 AM

Just a note to let you all know that our fellow photographer, Mickey Suttle of Something Extra Photos in Anahuac, TX lost his battle with cancer. Please keep his wife, Celeste and children in your thoughts and prayers. Mickey let me hold and shoot the first DSLR I ever saw or touched. I only knew him for a short time but he had an impact on my life as a photographer. My thoughts and prayers to Celeste and Children, Family and friends.

We had been praying for him, someone at work knows him. I've never met him but seen his work.

David, my sympathies to you, as Mickey's friend, and to his family and other friends. I did not know him, but nonetheless, it is a loss to the community of photographers as a whole and it sounds like he leaves a large void with his passing. May you and his family and other friends find comfort and peace from the lasting legacy that he leaves behind in all your hearts. Once again, I hate cancer, for what it robs us all of. I cannot begin to list how many lives this cruel disease (in all it's various forms) has touched.
