I've seen so many of these through the years and still believe that these have to be some of the happiest moments you will ever see. Enough to bring an old rough retired vet to tears. Welcome home to your husband and again a big thanks to both of you for your service.

P.S. If you ever want to be a real emmotional mess take some time to look up some of the YouTube submissions of fathers/mothers coming home, especially the surprise ones at schools etc.

I am working near Camp Bullis here in San Antonio now, and have probably 100 soldiers a day come thru. Some are daily visitors, some just every now and then, I really love it when one of the other customers unhesitatingly offers to pick up the tab for the soldier. From what I understand Camp Bullis is training area for the folks heading to Afghanistan so I often wonder about there safe return to the states.

Glad to hear of the safe return of you loved one.
