Anyone having problems with the newest version of Firefox (1.5) allowing pop ups even though they are supposedly blocked? I'm just having all kinds of trouble. I'm up to date on all my antivirus and spybot stuff. Altho I do think my kids may have gotten the surf sidekick installed but I tried to uninstall it. It's spawning them (whatever IT is) from IE even tho that isn't default browser. Any ideas thoughts etc? DJ in other words.......... you may have to reinstall all of the extensions in Firefox and triple check the settings. a few things went wacky on my PC when I got FF 1.5 do you have adaware se? if not get it. and manually update spybot as well. you may need to do some deeper cleaning to fully get rid of the surf sidkick James |
