Better than "them Cowboys". Hard to say coming from a lifelong Cowboys fan.

How 'bout that! Been a long time since I felt this good about a Houston team.

I remember how "preseason didn't matter." I suppose we'll see about that. I'm afraid with a loss Wade may be updating his resume.

That and as soon as Jerry starts saying he is his man and he has full confidence in him.

going on record here. There will be at least 5 personal fouls in the Dallas game. Lets just hope they arent out to just hurt people if they start losing...

You shouldn't be afraid, you should rejoice. Wade has never been any good as a head coach, ever. He's a great defensive coordinator, but not a good head coach. Demote him and move forward.

I'll always back the Houston Texans, unless they are playing my Cowboys. Always been a cowboys fan and a few bad years won't change that. Romo did look pathetic this week though, I could throw passes behind receivers like he did for that kind of money. Matter of fact I'd even be willing to do it for about half that amount.

I used to be a die-hard Cowboy fan. When I moved to Houston in 1984, I hated the Oilers (who can cheer for a team wearing baby blue uniforms?!) and stuck with the Cowboys through the dark years of the end of the Landry era. Jerry Jones always irritated me, but he brought in a winner and so I overlooked my issues with him.

Bud Adams moved his team to Tennessee and insulted Houston fans as he left. As I mentioned, I hated the Oilers, but Oiler fans were great fans and didn't deserve the treatment they got from Adams. When Bob McNair got an NFL team, I found a chance to do what I never thought was possible - change my NFL allegience. I am now a die-hard Texans fan and now love to see the problems in Dallas. Jerry Jones is still someone I don't even like to look at.

Jerry Jones De-classed the Cowgirls... Being born and raised in Houston I was never a Cowgirls fan but at least I could have some respect for the class org that Landry ran...

I totally agree about Jerry Jones and only wish there was a way the team could trade away the owner. Just don't dislike him enough to turn on my team, too much history there to do that. Hopefully he'll eventually get bored with them and finally sale the team to someone else, unfortunately he has too much of an ego and it's too much of a trophy wife to him.

I was a Cowboys fan when I was a kid only because of Landry, Staubach, Newsome, Meredith, and the others in that time. But, then that ended and I became a Redskins fan for the same reasons. Great players and leadership. I don't care for the leadership in Dallas.

As for the Oilers. I was a lifelong fan of them, win or lose, I was a fan. I was loyal to them, but Bud Adams wasn't loyal to me. I could care less for the Titans! I remember drinking Snake Cola during the Stabler era. It was great memories for great teams.

I love the TEXANS and I am excited about the season. They are starting to do things on the field that winning teams do. They find a way to win! Good luck to them! Thanks Bob McNair for bringing Houston another team.

One thing that can't be denied about the Cowboys, they have the best cheerleaders in the NFL.
