Just wanted to pass this link on that i found on the NAPP forums.

I think they were going with the "lets scare the confused old folks away from technology" sales technique: "New" Vivitar camera









And, Yes, I did a search first and did not find a previous posting for this...so there, NYA!

yeah, now you just have to wait three weeks to get the prints back to see your pictures taken because all the in store 24hr developers are gone.

they said that the automatic focus makes taking pictures easy, but I don't think that camera has an automatic focus. It looks like it is a set focus, with no motor for adjustment. They lied.

I kept waiting to see that the camera came with film loaded and the phrase "you click the picture, Leave the rest to us!" That was the whole idea with the Kodak Brownie....
