Sonny,

You know any good app to manage photos on either the ipad or iphone? I need something that can create albums and make it easy to transfer between the idevice & my computers. Looked at the list of apps on the store and couldn't find anything to my liking.

Viet - Sonny had posted these links in regards to using Lightroom and iPad, I'm not sure if this helps, for me I've been using the LR3 publish services along with exporting the images on the long side of 2304 and it's worked pretty well.

What's not noted in those links is having separate albums. Do the following

Here's the solution to make multiple Albums.

1. create a new folder, for eg. name it:
iPad photos
2. go inside this new folder and create five new folders and name them for eg:

- folder 1
- folder 2
- folder 3

3. drag or copy/paste pictures inside those five folders.

4. start iTunes: make sure your USB is connected on your PC and your iTouch/iPad.

5. in photo sync do the select a folder:

find the folder: iPad Photos
select that folder then click "apply" to start synchronize.

Today i finally get to process and load high.res images on my iPhone, i use folder sync instead of iPhoto junk, in fact, hate the everything have to go tho itunes crap. It's devastating.

Then here's the issue, you can't sort the photos in your album. All i want is as simple as showing all the portrait orientated photos first then follow by landscape, so the user don't have to keep turning screen orientation while scrolling tho the images. Come on, gallery sorting photos have to be put-food-in-your-mouth easy right? but you can't do it on iPhone. What a freaking joke for a supposedly intuitive OS!

Upon close look, it displays photos by the order of created date. I located a program calls "A better Finder" which allows you alter EXIT info on the fly, then use CS5 to change file name.

It's still a lengthy process as you will have to change all files name and creation date next time you add new photo, and wish to change the order.

Another must have is the 'portfolio' app, it has a nice clean layout compared to apples galleries.
