I just got today's Groupon for Dallas and they have a Membership to Tiger Creek for a year for a family for $28 or $18 for a single which is half price. This refuge has more than 40 big cats. Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge (TCWR), tigercreek.org, Tyler, Texas, big cat rescue, save the tigers, lions, tigers, sanctuary, wildlife refuge, zoos, great cats
Or for the groupon offer Houston Deal of the Day | Local Daily Deals from Groupon

Been wanting to check them out... how is the shooting situation? Is there a way to photograph that does NOT involve chain link fencing? I go to Pug Mark in McKinney as often as I can afford it. They use cattle fencing that your big lenses will fit thru so your shots are unobstructed. Unfortunately they are not getting new animals so there is just the lioness and two tigers. That can keep me really happy for a long time, but would like the opportunity to shoot other types of big cats as well.

Sheri, I have never been. But if you visit the web site expect it to be just like the zoo.

I was there a couple of years ago, and it was just chain link fences to shoot through. Still with a 2.8 aperture that won't be too bad.
