Little Rock Ark Photo-Ops - 09-29-2010, 03:53 PM

I find myself going to Little Rock, Ark tomorrow where I'll have to keep myself busy for several days whilst the wife works/learns at a seminar.

Right now I have the following photo-ops in my plans:
1) Capital grounds (building, Little Rock 9 statues, Viet Nam Vet Memorial)
2) MacArthur Park (Korean Vet Memorial, flowers, buildings)
3) Clinton Library (mostly for the old bridge)
4) USS RazorBack
5) The Old Mill (North Little Rock, with the included park)
6) Cemetery (Just on the south side of downtown)
7) Riverfront (buildings, scultures, views of paddleboat and Razorback)
8) General cruising - looking for murals, graffiti, old houses, junkers, etc

Any other must-see's or hidden treasures for photogs?

Almost had a disaster before I left: Packing my gear, and could not find my battery charger (my backup charger was found, but seems to be dead). Finally found it in a shoebox of invoices and receipts from my photo business. Don't know how it got there.

Will be accessing the net while in LR, so if anyone has suggestions I will see them.
Added 3 more locations already from research:
1) "Nina" a wooden sailing vessel near the Razorback and Paddle Wheel
2) Empress B&B
3) Albert Pike Memorial Temple

I was also debating going to the Ozarks Fortress/Castle that is being built, but decided that the 3 hr trip each way was not worth it yet, maybe in 5 more years.

Maybe you will catch some decent Fall Foliage in the area.
