Facebook fan page blocked - I need your help!

I am a FB nerd and I cant figure out how to fix this. Last night my fan page hit 10,000 fans. FB promptly disabled the page (I can't post, fans can) and the perm. link to the page isn't working.

I've been researching for over 3 hours. Help.

Does anyone know how to restore a fan page when this is at the top: Your publishing rights have been blocked due to a violation of the Pages Terms of Use.

btw - I didnt violate anything. The stuff I researched said they want the admin to authenticate, but that doesnt seem to restore the publishing rights. I got no email, no warning.

bah. it was commandeered to be a community page. apparently this is a problem. fn robots.

after a week of research, my publishing rights are still blocked.

it appears fb has severe issues with authenticating pages, so like dan said, you need to talk to someone. the problem is, it is impossible to talk to someone at fb.

if anybody has a relative working for fb, or knows how to email them, clue me in. thanks!

I can't believe you still can't access it, that sucks! I have looked at their "hiring" section...they have awesome benefits. I know people work there!

I found this Facebook customer service phone numbers and support But looks like you can only leave a message.

This person seems to work for them and has answered over 2,000 questions asked on the help board. You might try him. Help Center | Facebook

I have researched this like crazy, submitted all the forms, and NOTHING. Everyone else that got their pages back, had a response in 2-3 days.

So far the only response I got was from billing - I told them I cant spend my money on ads if they dont unlock the page. They told me they cant help, try the help center. Which should be named the robots dont care center.

nope. page is still blocked. :o( they don't answer anything, and it appears that the form isn't working.

tried contacting billing b/c i paid for ads to that page, and now its blocked, so that was a waste of $$.

tried filing a report with BBB.

any other ideas?

:o( i thought i was so patient when this started 3 weeks ago. i waited 2 weeks - the magical period in which others had their page restored - and mine wasnt. :o(

i found two more email addresses today. is facebook open on the weekend?

Yup. 3 weeks of research and Ive found no sure fire correction for this issue. If you rely on facebook for your clients, this is something to watch out for...especially since they have been dropping the fan # that prompts it. Ive read a couple of places that it is also prompted by pages with frequent posts.

Holly, any update on this? I am just getting my page going (only 60 fans now LOL) but I do want to grow it as FB seems to be a good tool. This is really dissapointing that FB has not resolved this issue for you.

Hey; sorry for the delayed response.

I asked some people about this, and it sounded like there's a normal process for it and not really anything to do (short of harassing the people on the team that does this). I was just about to write that I didn't think I could help, but I went to the page just now and it looks like she got it authenticated already anyway?
