would you really want to be the guy in the ad agency telling models that all they want to photograph is their posterior for a toilet paper ad?

Fun stuff! You can tell that number six - the ikea ad - is european, because they spelled organise instead of organize. Both are acceptable forms of the word, but we yanks use the z version...

Wow, that toilet paper one was just wrong.

These are creative advertising for sure, but I don't see how they are guerrilla marketing.
To me, guerrilla marketing is more like when you don't even really know you are being subjected to advertising. Like the whole Gap logo fiasco recently. That was so horribly bad, I refuse to believe that was anything but a guerilla marketing attempt.

I think that the term guerilla marketing is being used very loosely today. In the past it was all about promotions that rely on time, energy and imagination rather than a big pocketbook. Most of the ones shown were more about imagination.

Guerilla Marketing....
Like guerilla warfare... not jungle animals.

Yes, the term guerilla marketing has been adapted and changed over the years to include any "non-traditional" form of advertising. It's not like the original definition. Kind of like the term Punk has been changed to include all sorts of bands today that The Sex Pistols would spit on and beat up... or, like today's R&B has no resemblance to the R&B of 25 years ago.
