Looking for a newborn photographer.... - 10-27-2010, 09:15 AM

Hey all! I am looking for a newborn photographer for my third and final baby. I am due with baby boy Preston in December, my c-section is currently scheduled for December 10th. I am the first to admit that newborn photography is NOT my forte. While I like to think I'm getting better, I just don't seem to have that special touch :) I am hoping to find someone who would be interested in trading for a session for themselves next year after I am done with Maternity leave.
I am open to taking him to a studio or another location or having someone come here (I live in Katy).

If this is something you are open to, please reply here or email me info@nenametcalfphotography.com.

I am in the middle of redoing my website, but feel free to check out my work to see if you would be interested in a trade Nena Metcalf Photography - Houston Area Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Thanks!! :)

How about one of these guys? Not exactly newborns, but they do have good gear!

I looked at your baby photos on your site and they look good to me.

That's what I was thinking when I read the subject title! I wasn't sure she'd find a tiny baby with enough skill to take a good picture or strength to even hold up the camera.

I'm in Ft Worth, so I'm no help either.

But, the nice thing about doing your own newborn photos is you get the extra practise, and you can try multiple times a day for several days until you get the shots you want! :)
