How is this for a home? - 10-28-2010, 04:20 PM

India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, is about to welcome his closest friends to his $1-billion Mumbai home that is billed as the most expensive in history, anywhere. The building, seven years in the making, is 400,000 square feet on 27 floors, all for a family of six.

Just goes to show, money can't buy taste. That has to be the ugliest non industrial building I have ever seen.

It sure is. I found the shots of the slums with the house towering over very interesting.

I've been to Mumbai. If I was going to build a billion dollar home, it sure as hell wouldn't be there.

That is one ugly structure, house or not.

I highly doubt it actually cost $1billion based on materials and labor costs in India. If it did, he got ripped off.

I bet the smells that loft up to that structure are gastly.

Looks like it fits in well with the neighborhood... kind of a slum stood on end

Thats the dumbest thing I have ever seen....

I guess the line from the movie wall street is true. A fool and his money were lucky to get together in the first place.
