Four Confirmed Texas In-and-Out Burger Locations - 11-03-2010, 02:27 AM

There are rumors that In-N-Out has six locations under contract to set up shop, but we only have four confirmed right now.

* Allen - The Village at Allen will set up shop in mid 2011. The Village is located at the intersection of U.S. 75 and Stacy Road.
* Garland - In-n-Out will be located at the Firewheel Town Center in Garland. It will be located on the southeaster corner of Towner Center Blvd and Lavon Drive.
* Fort Worth – West 7th development will open the first Tarrant County burger joint in mid 2011. The eatery will be located at the northwest corner of West Seventh and Currie streets. It will open mid-2011.
* Dallas – Dallas location will open at Central Expressway and Caruth Haven.

I've never had an in/out burger and wonder if its worth all they hype. I guess I won't be finding out any time soon.

But i have to give major props to Smashburger. That is one TASTY burger!

Because no one does it like In-n-out. It is all about the sauce.

You sir, have obviously never had I&O! Nothing quite like a "Double Double" with grilled onions, and some of their fresh cut fries.

So stoked to hear of the one coming to the Village... now I can get my In & Out fix and go to Cabelas in the same trip!

I grew up in California where these are about as plentiful as Whatburger's are here, and I have to agree, they're no big deal. Different, yes, but not the best I've ever had by far. Personally, I hate their fries. Shakes are good. Burgers are OK, but not spectacular. What the heck, it's all fast food and should be avoided unless no other options are available.

Of course, YM(and waistline)MV.

As does San Antonio. I guess for now they can just shove their In/Out In and keep it there.

Not in Houston yet, but for something close try "Tornado Burger" down in Stafford (near Sugar Land / Mo City). A lot of local food reviewers have favorably compared it to in & out.
And their fried ROCK
