Blood Drive Benefit:
Logan Griffiths, son of Jim and Teri Griffiths, and brother to Jamie and
Megan, was in a serious motorcycle accident on Friday, Nov. 5th, 2010
in Pearland. The doctors at Children’s Memorial Hermann used their
skillful hands and saved Logan’s life early Saturday morning.

...Logan has undergone several surgeries including major repair to his
liver. He has received over 60 pints of blood and will likely need
more blood for the upcoming surgeries. The orthopedic surgeries will
be scheduled once the trauma doctors have completed their procedures.

Logan is 18 years old and graduated from Glenda Dawson High School in
2010 (Pearland). His employer is Columns, Inc. (Pearland).

Blood Drive will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. at Pearland Furniture 1013 North Main Pearland, TX 77581
(281)485-5152
In appreciation for your special gift, we will have a slice of pizza,
and coupon for each donor.

On behalf of the Griffith's family: They appreciate all the prayers,
well wishes.. Words cannot express their
appreciation.

Also Just talked to a friend of mine that works for Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and she gave me this info: You or anyone can to donate and credit his drive. all you have to do is go to any Gulf Coast Neighborhood Donor Center 6days before or 6days after his blood drive & give the sponsor code #U983 to the screener. That code will link your donation to his blood drive. So you have from today until next Wednesday to donate for him! Just make sure everyone gives that code to the screener!

Thanks everyone for takig the time and reading my post. If you can help out Logan and his family I would greatly appriciate. Logan is a close family friend more like family to me.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the blood drive for Logan his family is forever greatful, but if you couldnt make it out yesterday and would still like to donate for Logan. All you have to do is go to any Gulf Coast Neighborhood Donor Center & give the sponsor code #U983 to the screener. That code will link your donation to his blood drive. So you have from today until next Wednesday to donate for him! Just make sure everyone gives that code to the screener!

Although I am located too far away to donate blood, I hope that young man recovers.
