I think we should teach Peace, no disrespect to those who have fought (including my grandpa), however, Peace does work...

Thanks for sharing. The idea is great, and I stand behind it. However, there were a lot of issues with the stiff acting (that's what you get when you use real people as actors), the cinematography (they missed a lot of chances to really drive home the passion of the veterans by not doing some close-ups), the overall story line (pretty cliche and predictable) and misc things (like the lack of a full theater, which just seemed odd).

So, technically, it didn't move me much, but the idea and passion behind it... yes, very patriotic and touching!

As a retired member of those who you feel should have something like that said against them at this specific time (Verterans Day) I do find it disrespectful, and your welcome for the freedome to say it.

Predictable but touching. I liked it. Nice, warm and fuzzy. Yet sad about the truth of new generations with little knowledge or respect.

Peace only works on those people that are rational.

Lets look at an unbiased list for a second and rethink what I am saying in my comment of teaching Peace..... We are 85th on the list......we are not know for being a Nation of Peace... I think we should teach our children Peace....If 84 other Nations are doing a better job then us...then we are not doing the best we can.

In no way, shape, or form am I saying that what our veterans have done is not appreciated......I support our troops....i don't support the wars our troops are made to fight in....that is the best way I can explain it....form your opinions however you wish.

I understand wanting peace, that should be everyone's goal. I'm just more a realist that as long as we have morons living in caves that want nothing more than to see us dead ther will not be that peace. I apologize if I offended you. I just kind of took it personal considering tomorrow. We're all friends here and sometimes we all say things that would be taken much different if spoken in person than typed out.

Regardless, happy veterans day to all that served and for everyone take a minute to think about what it really is about.

Peace out.
Cliff

I find that list anything as unbiased by the way. You have to describe the wars these countries have been in and their purpose for doing so. I'll just leave it at that, not to mention this is Wikipedia.

Please tell me you are not seriously referencing Wikipedia for facts about war.

I could find at least 5 resources instantly that would support the fact that the US is not the most peaceful nation is the world.....however, why waste my time, no matter what is put in front of you, you will claim it as B.S.

you guys win, your right, have a peaceful night
