The mountain in the background at 0:11 looks a lot like the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, NM.

I was hoping for a little more specificity.

For example; at 2 and 15 seconds of the first video is a unique looking path for a road. Surely someone knows where this is and the Hwy number.

Sorry. I only travel by passenger train. I haven't been in an automobile since 1973. If you showed me a photo of some railroad tracks, maybe I could help.

I think its rt 93 up in ID, near the Craters of the Moon park.. I accidentally drove thru there a couple yrs ago, even though 53FT trailers aren't allowed on the road.

Not yet but I am working on it. After spending a week with Bry Cox, listening to him talk about spots like this all over Southern Utah, I think I need to spend a week there.

Anyone have an RV? I'll buy the gas.

I have a Honda Civic and a 5-man tent. How's that?

I am not opposed to camping. I would rather have a place to plug in my computer to work on images during the day.
