It was built in less than a week.
But most everything was prefabed off site, so no big deal really…..

That was interesting, but don't think that the U.S. lacks the equivalent or better. I've watched how fast and efficiently Texas construction workers can throw up a major office park.

My people are awesome at manual labor.
But for clarification, the video showed a building using prefab parts... not like its any less interesting tho.

The Model T was produced in an AMERICAN automobile factory... one every 93 minutes... and that was in 1914

No more TV's made in america, no more light bulbs made in USA, no more pianos made in USA, GM's major profit is coming from over seas market, no computer parts made in USA, all computer parts for cruise missiles from Japan, all major furniture brands not made in USA, etc, etc, etc. US rank number two as economic power behind China. The first auto was made in Europe. US ranked 10th as far as education level.

Putting a building this size up that fast is definitely an accomplishment but I wonder how much of an accomplishment it actually is. Yes, it was assembled extremely fast but how long did it take to make all of the components for it? Was the construction time significantly less when factoring in all of the off site preparation? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
