My Gran Turismo 5 Racing Setup - 11-28-2010, 02:23 AM

Okay round 2...... that first post i made didnt tell much:

What i used:
Driving Force GT
tray table from walmart
5lb weight for counterweight
plastic conduit to clean all the wires up
zipties for the weight.

Ill be adding some broken MSD ignition modules for aesthetics with all the wiring leading to the steering wheel later

When my Son and I had two setups for the PC/Nascar online racing, the action actually raised my blood pressure so high, veins in my neck and head would pop up. Seriously!

I had a ISDN line in those days, lol.

you should try iracing with 3 monitors. . .

I actually break into a sweat during a 20 lap race.

makes GT5 look like a cute toy. not that it stops me from enjoying GT5 :D

how do you setup more than one monitor

edit: just checked....im good ill keep my 96.00 dollars a year and stick with my street car selection and overall have a blast playing with m friends and people who dont whine about "how other games claim they are racing sims"....from reading comments by the people who play on iRacing i want nothing to do with the egos that are abound in that community.

kegetys.net - SoftTH Software Triplehead

you will need at least 2 video cards in the machine, the way SoftTH works, you need a beefy one, and a cheap one. The beefy one renders the entire scene, and then does a copy across the bus to the cheap one. (obviously, your mother board has to have multiple high speed interfaces for the video cards)

for PC only. PS3 can only handle one display.

however, nothing beats having a single display that is 4096x1024 :D you can really look ahead into the curves.

an example online...

I had the red ring of death a few months ago. I sent it in and a few weeks later I got it back and everything has been ok since. I bought the 360 at least 4 years ago too. Anyway, I have Need for Speed Shift and I play on my 60" HDTV, it is freakin wicked!!!!
