I'm curious now to see if its possible to catch moonbows after a night rain has ended and the moon is in the right position. It'll be a "shot in the dark" but I get the physics behind it.

That's interesting and unique. I like how he has the Planet Mars above the moonbow. I'm envious.

Thanks to modern camera iso ranges and HDR, I'm sure this phenomenon was much easier to record. We probably just couldn't see it before.

Hey Joe, do a search on Cumberland Falls moonbow and you can get a full moon schedule when moonbows occur there, in KY of course. Also they occur at Victoria Falls and a muted one at Niagra Falls.

Really, the name is a bit misleading. You'd think that it would be a rainbow ON THE MOON. Otherwise, we should change the name of daylight rainbows to Sunbows!
