The t2i is coming next week (I might have to "inspect" it before xmas), the 70-300mm came in last week and I'm researching either lighting or flashes, or maybe more props for the little babies, ugh can't decide!

John,
Not sure if you've been naughty or nice but that lens is definitely nice.
Is that the VRII version?

Yup, the VRII.

I had a chance to try the VRI and thought it was great. Looking forward to seeing if this new one lives up to all the hype it's gotten.

Not exactly on the same page as you guys, but this is what Santa got me this year. Fender XII Stratocaster (12 string).

Ouch...a LONG time ago I played a 12 string acoustic.

May your fingers callus quickly; but yeah, they give such a sweet sound.

That must be a pellet gun or a non-firearm black powder handgun... or a handgun with an SBR tag/tax on it, because that barrel is too short to legally have a stock on the handgun!
