Did visa cut their connection because they were being attacked, or did the actual attack cause the outage? I think it's the former. Haha these geeks are hilarious.

edit: What is their goal? Is this like a "Fight Club" type scenario?

One thing is that I certainly don't agree with any type of censorship on the web.

Wow Facebook just shut down their page. I can't blame facebook, since it clearly violates their terms of use. It's just weird how all this is happening so fast.

These people don't really care about the work wikileaks was doing. They just want to be pirates, regardless of the reason. With that said, I'm glad someone is coming to the defense of wikileaks... I hate that the government is trying to make the wikileaks people out to be "terrorists", because they have made some terrible government actions known to the public.

Mastercard and Visa... accept money for KKK, but not wikileaks, because you know, their terrists [sic], lol..

Unfortunately not really... Significant portion of the attack is done by only a very few number in the order of tens (botmasters with enough to spare), and the the of the rest of the people involved actually don't make any difference in the technical attack sense, but rather the spreading the news about it.
