Restrepo - 12-16-2010, 08:55 PM

For those who have Netflix it is now available to stream, this was shown on Nat Geo unedited of a Marine base camp in Afghanistan. When I say unedited, there were no bleeping.

Watched it on Nat Geo. Very nicely put together I thought and captured the emotion very well. I have an immense respect for all those who serve / served.

Just finished watching Restrepo. I don't even know what to say. I cannot fathom being in those situations.

Thanks again Ken for the suggestion.

My pleasure.

Big thanks goes out to the men and women who fight and deal with the aftermath of battle along with their friends and families.

Yeah thanks Ken! I have two sons in the Army and have done multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. They're not the same when they come back. I've aged alot since they've been in. :)

Eye opener to actually see what they go through on a daily basis.

I watched it a few weeks ago. Great documentary. That's the same land that gave Alexander the Great such a fit, and the only time his campaign bogged down.

Great documentary. Hard to watch if you've "seen the elephant" but still very well done. Before I actually went to war, I thought war movies were cool - now they just make me angry.
