That's why you set up in the back and track them towards you and you don't shoot from the front of the people like he did.

Yeah, I'd seen it somewhere before... just couldn't remember if it was here or not. Rule of thumb: If you find a video that's more than ten minutes old and are wondering if it's already been posted, the answer is usually yes!

I don't know... I run up to the front after shooting the ceremony and kiss from the back, then walk backwards down the aisle with them. I think his problem was looking through the viewfinder the whole time, as he did. With a wide angle, you can hold the camera up without looking through the finder and get some great shots of them walking out. You can still have your head free to look behind you every couple of steps. That's how I shoot exits and I haven't tripped yet, even when the BnG's final exit involves walking backwards down some stairs - like in the pic I attached.

I think an assistant would be useful to grab your belt from behind and steer you safely down the aisle and steps.

And I am available and great at steering.
