Darn that Facebook!
I finally got around to re-activating my Facebook account (I deleted it about a year ago - I just couldn't get into it at the time).
Anyhow, I created my profile, uploaded some photos, etc. Now, when I try and add friends, it won't let me! It basically refuses to send any friend requests. I checked the FAQ, and it seems that it's trying to prevent me from spamming. They say that the risk factors are:
Playing Facebook Games - Never tried a single game.
Too many rejected friend requests, or too many sent to strangers - I've only sent TWO requests, both to people I know. One of them was to my SON for crying out loud. He has the same last name as I do! I think there is a fair chance I know him... And since neither request was actually sent, I'm guessing they weren't rejected.
I commend Facebook for trying to prevent spam friend requests. But it's hosed that a new user can't add friends! I can't figure out what I must have accidentally done get get my friend requests all blocked. And of course, Facebook has essentially no support options...
Can any of you Facebook experts out there offer me any tips?
The FAQ entry I found doesn't seem to apply to anything I've done...

Thanks in advance...
