Didn't know where to post this. Do we need a new category?

Ran across this and wonder if it's legit, and if anyone tried it.

Um, first question: who is the award winning photographer teaching this? If that information is not included, I would start thinking that this person hasn't really won any awards, among other things.

Yeah. I'm thinkin if they didn't include their name, etc. then there is a big red flag goin up. This sounds like someone who has made some Youtube videos of all the items listed and is trying to get started selling them.

I would be very cautious about sending money for something like this unless you can confirm that this is a legit business.

David Ziser has a book that will show, i'm pretty sure, everything on the list but relating to wedding photography. I don't have the book with me, but I think it was under $50.

I read at least 2 hours everyday. blogs, how to's, watch youtube instructions etc. most of the subjects are available free if you look for them.

I am learning a lot and getting better each day.

I just wish I had the cash to attend some workshops and seminars.

That site give you leads on three photographers. Did they collectively create an email class? I suppose I'd want a sample of what I'd get. Seems like it would be VERY basic. Also, without more review of their site I'd be hesitant to give my credit/debit card info to someone on Craigs List. I want some security.

Captured By The Light

It is very good for photographers of multiple skill levels. DZ is a much more traditional photographer, and a lot of his techniques are obviously geared around that.

My first thought is this: That ad is actually written well. Though it may or may not be a good idea to join their program, at least it isn't some barely legible CL ad that was conceived on the back of a cocktail napkin during a Greyhound bus ride across the dusty, western plains of Texas. That is one step closer to being legit than most of the CL ads out there...
