and Halogen tomorrow. I saw a commercial and it looked interesting. There are clips and ads that you can find with Google, if interested.

"PhotoXplorers follows an adventurous band of photographers/urban explorers as they slip behind the barricades to capture haunting images of abandoned buildings and structures from around the World.

The stories and human connection to these ghostly, neglected and often dangerous locations are fully explored and artistically resurrected through our team’s unique ability to visualize and interpret the beauty in decay.

PhotoXplorers shadows the adventures and pursuits of this unique band of accomplished photographers as they prowl through abandoned buildings and create breathtaking art from the evidence of neglect, decay and merciless time."

This show could either be great, or worse than those terrible host hunting shows. I'd love to tune in and see how it goes... thanks!

Looking a little deeper, I think it has already been on Bravo. The page that says "Starts Thursday" mislead me. Looking at other pages I think it was on in Nov-Dec. So Halogen is where to view it. Looking at the online video, it wasn't captivating, but it might be OK. Bravo seems to have episodes online, but I couldn't get them to play. Some error notice from Bravo came up.

Hi there,

I'm one of the photographers on the show. The show has indeed aired on Bravo in Canada (where it started), and has aired on Discovery World HD, Travel Channel in Europe, TLC in Asia... Halogen recently picked it up.

If you want to see an episode, but don't get the channel, Ep. 1 is on youtube.

The Bravo online player only works for Canadian IP addresses, unfortunately.

The show focuses more on the buildings we ventured into, and why we enjoy shooting that subject matter. It is very much not a ghost hunting type show (in our eyes, at least). I hate those shows, too. :-)

If you do check it out, thanks! Hope you like it (and no offense taken if you don't). :-)

All the best,
Sean

When I said "ghost hunter show", I meant one that tries to build up a bunch of fake drama and mystery. It sounds like your show may focus more on the history and adventure of the building shoots. I'll definitely try and check it out! Thanks for stopping by...

Andy,
Where are some old places in the Killeen and surrounding areas to go visit? We can do our own photoXploring!

There may be some abandoned buildings in smaller towns, but I'm not aware of any around here, certainly not industrial buildings or churches or schools.

You have a link above for at least one episode. I don't see it on Netflix.

Sean, I don't know if you're still watching this thread. I've watched a couple of episodes. Were any of y'all injured in these shows? In one episode a comment was made that you don't want to fall through a floor. "I did that once with these guys and they just left me there" or something to that effect was said.

In some cases I see safety first as floors are checked and tested before you go on them. Gloves are worn. But I'd guess these safeguards are as a result of the hazards seen and experienced.

Lost track of this thread...

None of us were injured during production, and none of us have been notably injured in the many years we've been doing it. Even when I fell through a floor, I wasn't seriously hurt (thankfully). Sometimes I wear gloves, but usually don't. Depends on the location.

I notice that Halogen TV is still airing the show on Mondays at 10:30pm ET.
