As stated above, not enough info to make this call. She may have approached him and his thinking may have been ...fine if you want to shoot and try to sell go ahead, but parents will be there too and they'll have phones, P&S and possibly DSLRs, but hey knock yourself out... . We don't even know if the "pro" even had a contract. I would guess not. Maybe in previous years the coach just lined the kids up and let the parents just go at it. That's what we did sometimes when my son played rec. Perhaps that's where this parent got the idea that next year they could shoot it as a "pro". How many times does this happen, right? I'm not advocating bad photo etiquette, but if that was the case this issue of getting shots after she's done doesn't seem like that big of deal, so perhaps, just perhaps the "pro" overacted and perhaps some of us did too. |
Sure, we don't know, she didn't know.
What I have described is the typical arrangement.
We do know that it was Picture Day and that it was arranged for the "pro".
That is all we need to know.
It was the "pro's" time.
The MWC should have stayed out of the way.
She had many other days she could shoot.
So, ask yourself. Why did she pick this time?
Yep, it was going to be easier because someone else set everything up.
