I'm not surprised about the Storm comment, I AM surprised about the Droid one though.

Congrats on your new toy

Cool, sometimes the auto correct gets on my nerves but that is easily turned off.
BTW, thanks for the Skype tip several months back.

Don't remember now, what I learned to hate about the Droid. I guess I got over it. :-)

Yeah, I turn off the autocorrect, too.

Planning to order a Verizon iPhone for the wife. I just don't think I can bring myself to use one though; I'm probably gonna order an HTC Thunderbolt for me.

I'm holding out for the Droid Bionic on Verizon, unless Apple updates it's iOS to utilize widgets, I'll be using an Android based phone.

Android supports Swype Keys, which I believe is one of the nicest screen keyboard schemes available.

The only thing I really hate about auto-correct is the phone's constant belief that I'm trying to type Mr. instead of me. Really?!? Mr. is used so much more frequently in the English language that it trumps me?

By the way, anyone heard any news about the next iphone that should be coming out by summer? I'm waiting to upgrade my iphone 3gs...

Took me a while to find it also and love that option as I hate to text.

I've been a Verizon/GTE Mobilent customer for almost 20 years now. I suppose I'm loyal to them. But I'm resisting the urge to buy an iphone. I currently use a Samsung Omnia. The droids are looking more awesome to me all the time. I just don't feel the excitement over the iphone. Sorry.

DROID X user here..no issues other than auto correct, which was disabled day one. I'll wait until iPhone is 4G compatible on Verizon before I consider it. The iPhone4 for Verizon is 3G.

Doesn't matter that it is 3G. It will be a couple of years before Verizon is 4G. The area they are starting with is too isolated to be of any use, if you don't live in it.
