Any network/server admins in the house? - 02-08-2011, 09:38 AM

Im having some issues with my file permissions and I dont want to have to call the consultant.

Anyone here who can help me?

Im dealing with a new AD instance on server 2008 r2 enterprise. As a standard user, I can see my security group folders, but I cant write to them.

I had my group permissions right, but I still had the default share permissions, which didnt include domain users and admins. DUH.

Don't forget to blank the "inherit permissions" setting, as it can override your permissions.
