Hello all! I have a friend who asked me to do a birthday party for photo shoot, I have done it before but only did with my only len I have which is 50mm f/1.8 Now I wanted to get another len that does the job for birthday party that will be held inside of the house, do you guys know which best len that will get the job done for me? I know 70-200 is good but is there others good lens? Let me know! Thanks and Happy V-Day!

The 50 is a great lens, if you want to buy a lens, for DX look at the 17-55 f2.8 for the FX I would get the 24-70 f2.8.

Party for an 80 year old...

Save your money no need for a fast lens, get a cheap lens and a tripod, doubt they'll be moving very fast.

Haha I am just trying to option what I should get........there will be like over 30 people for party so there will be alot of kids involved. Any thoughts?
