I picked my new one this week also, 15" MBP.

I will pick up 8gb and an SSD from most likely OWC soon.

Freaking Migration Assistant is great!!!!!! Hooked up my July 2008 model (15" MBP) to the new one via firewire, less than 1 hour later all my programs and settings from the old computer on on the new one.

Just for the fun of it. Guess how many times I had to reboot my old computer from July 2008 to March 2011 because of a glitch? Guess how many mal-ware programs i have had to "uninstall"..... I could go on, but never have I enjoyed a computer more. And this new one is everything the old one was for me, but faster and better built (unibody).

The anti-glare screen, for me anyway from what I can tell, is very similar to my old one. I am glad I didn't get the "glossy" screen that I thought long and hard about, and stayed with the matte screen.

Google for recalibrating your Apple laptop battery. A simple procedure. We got our 2007 MacBook close to originally new charge levels.
