Superfocus Glasses - 02-25-2011, 11:51 AM

Has anyone tried these Superfocus eye glasses?

I'm just wondering because I have 3 pair of glasses myself and still find that I take mine off to eat and do a lot of closeup work.

Expensive - yes. One style - yes. But intriguing.

Superfocus - keep your world in focus

Oh wow, that's wild! But only one style choice? They look like something a little old man would wear. I wear trifocals and yet still have another pair for the computer. It will be interesting to see advancement in this type of eyewear.

Wow, and I just spent more than this for a new pair of glasses, that I'm taking back for "adjustment/redo"...

Maybe they should talk to Canon or Nikon and license their autofocus technology.

Adjustable glasses - 03-08-2011, 05:28 PM

Picman, Have you used a eyepiece diopter correction lens? They are cheap, easy to use and can be specific you your Rx needs.

However, they are not a total solution for correcting focus at multiple distances, but it is a quick fix temporarily.

I just get tired of switching glasses - I work at a computer most of the day and found my neck was killing me from head tilting to focus my bi-focals. A pair of readers fix that.
For those of us with bi- or tri- focals turning those Superfocus into autofocus would be cool.

For me switching from pair to pair really can get really frustrating at times, and I am always frantically searching my house and my car for them.

Reducing this wasted time, might improve my productivity and overall sanity.

I've read mostly good about these, and some bad. I also read somewhere it was about a 3 month wait for a pair. I wish there was someone here who had a pair and could provide an honest review.
