Strengths and weaknesses

I am going to start with a question for all who are willing to answer. What do you feel is your best quality as a photographer and what do you feel is your greatest weakness as a photographer. Photography is truly a passion of mine and I want to be the best I can be. I feel that my best quality is my willingness to get dirty, take chances, and make mistakes in order to learn from them. I feel that my weakness is that over anxiousness to take the photo and then realize that I lost it because I forgot something technical.

Jim, good questions. My strength is my desire to create images that have something to tell - I have been thru several stages in my photographic journey, and I am still searching for meaning and emotion. It goes much beyond the technical, and that makes it hard. It's a strength because it keeps me going, and it's so much part of me that it doesn't fade away.

My weakness is that I don't shoot enough - I should be photographing every day, every week, and I let other things get in the way.

Same here. Zack Arias says in one of his books, "If you aren't shooting frequently and regularly, you'll never get really good at this craft." Or something like that.

Strengths: I am teachable... love to learn...and I think that anyone at any level has something to offer.

Weaknesses: I love to learn....which means that I think that with enough knowledge, I can do anything, and handle it all...

Strength: Passion for capturing the moment, telling a story in a single image (candid shots).

Weakness: I'm all thumbs when it comes to posing people, conceptually I just don't get it.
