I am an award winning published photographer that portrait studios cannot afford to keep on staff, so I'm bartering my services while things aren't crazy busy! That's funny. I know a "professional photographer" who charges upwards of $5K for weddings with an entry level DSLR and nothing else; no equipment whatsoever. Seeing the awful pictures, I can't imagine anyone has actually paid for those services.
