My dad was very sad to hear he left Two and A Half Men because its currently his favorite show.

I can't believe that the news actually puts him those videos...if I ever get that sick...I don't want videos of me all over the news. It's sad that Americans like to report/watch that stuff.

Unfortunately sad that he's either not willing to accept it and get the needed help, or someone is just not trying hard enough to get through to him. The second just may not be the case as I know there are reports some have tried and he's just not gotten to the point that he realizes it's a problem. Hopefully he does before it's too late.

Clifton, I have been in AA for 4 1/2 years. And untill he "wants" the help and will admit he has a problem, no one can help him. Its just the way it is.

Just an idea... maybe it will change in a year or two but I doubt it...

The fact that he has kids should be enough to get through to him, I have one on the way, and life has already changed. The idea that I would have my wife (or ex-wife) and kids in one room and a porn star and coke in the other is insane... it does not take much to know that it is wrong.

Not pushing my sense of morality onto anyone, but the idea of having my kid walk in and see a porn star and a mound of coke and say "hey dad what's up..." is enough for me to never do it. Just my priority...
