Two hunters were waking through the woods of east Texas when they came upon a large hole in the ground, about ten feet across.

Hunter#1 asks, "I wonder how deep this here hole is?"
Hunter #2 says, "Heck if ah kno, but I'll betcha if we threw somthin' down in it we could learn."

The saw an old transmission on the ground, so they picked it up, tossed it into the hole. Suddenly they hear something behind them crashing through the brush. It was a goat moving so fast that they didn't have time to do anything but move out of it's way. The goat went straight for the hole, and jumped in, head first.

The hunters just shook their heads and started to walk away. They only walked a few yards when they saw a farmer coming towards them.

Farmer asks, "Did you guys see a goat anywhere around here?"
Hunter #1 replies, "Yep, one came running at us, about a hunnert miles an hour, and jumped in that hole over younder."

"Well," says the farmer, "that couldn't be my goat, cause I had him chained to a transmission?
