walmart by me had atleast 4 ipad2 instock yesterday but SA might be a bit of a drive

Well were making a trip to Austin tomorrow if anybody knows of any there. Where does one by an ipad in Austin? Other than Walmart, Target.

The Apple store at
Barton Creek Mall had some day after release. Give them a call and see. They also had lots of the covers. There's also a temporary store on 6th and Congress I believe, for SXSW
But that one sold out fast according to the mall store.

Best Buy here in little Tyler had some, but they were sold out of the white 16G Wireless only ones when I went the other day. They did have a few others though. The guy there said they sold like 85 of them the first day!

Apple released a second shipment of iPad 2 tablets to its Apple stores this morning, and customers are lining up again to get their hands on the new tablet. Reports came in yesterday that some Apple stores were opening an hour earlier to sell their new stock.

Well I picked up my iPad2 white 3g at our local target. I didn't want 3ge but got tired of not finding what I wanted and this one was on a shelf for several days.

I cheaped out and bought the ipad 1 from at&t. The 64gb 3g is $300 off right now. ($529. The 16gb 3g is $429.) Good luck!

I'm really liking my iPad 2, it's really much lighter, thinner and much faster then my ipad1.
