Why? Is that bad? She did over process them a bit.

Given how little real estate photography usually pays I'm surprised anyone puts any post processing effort at all into it, let alone HDR processing. And yeah, those were pretty awful pics. NOT what I want to see if I'm shopping for a home to buy.

I just keep looking at image after image that looks like there was a fire in the home. The ceiling looks like it had a grease fire.

Be nice y'all. Search "HDR" and see and read what is said here.
High marks for the gallery presentation at HAR.com. It wasn't like that when I got here in late 2005. High marks to the person who is trying to elevate the quality of real estate presentation. If they back off a bit it will be fine.

sure, lots of the high end homes sellers use HDR on their model homes. If done properl the results are great. There are also a few phtographers that shoot for big dollar used home realtors that do HDR but again its done correctly.

The main problem I have is that the photos do not depict what the home actually looks like. They are way over-processed to point of looking cartoonish. If I'm looking for a home--especially an expensive one--I want to see images that look realistic.

+1 Totally agree, I have done a few for Vickie, as long as you dont over do them. I think its a positive way of showing a home. Have you seen what the pics some realtors post on MLS? You can not even tell the color of the room, much less to this detail.

Somebody should email the agent. Offer to take the originals and make them more realistic. You might even get some business.
