Looking for some Longhorns - 03-25-2011, 06:44 PM

Anyone know where there's a herd around North Dallas? Used to be a few out near Legacy Dr, but haven't been out there lately.

Thanks

Too far maybe. West side of Midway. Two herds, one on each side of Hwy. 21. Some days they are at the fence by the road and some days not. They were at the road yesterday around 5pm.

Legacy at Preston in Plano on the South West Section. Added bonus several bison. The field is just to the west of the Crossmark offices, 5100 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX 75024

Also great long horn and drover life sized bronzes are located at The Shops at Legacy on the east side of Legacy at the Tollway. The best are on Bishop Road north side. The one 2-3 blocks in is on it's own mini park.

A heads up and thank you to Pookie.

Bummer tried to paste a photo. Curses thwarted again, luck of the noobs.

Put a couple of pictures in my gallery.

That is actually Southwest of Preston/Legacy, north of Plano YMCA. The actual intersection is Legacy/Windcrest.
I have taken some pics there but often times they are too far away from the fence/street and there is a "private property" sign on the side street where they usually are the closest.
