Has anyone bought the Xoom yet? If so, what have you found for photography apps that you like?

Since the Ipad2 is in short supply, may be leaning this way.

thanks

I went to Best Buy and played around with one today. They are nice. I am considering the wi fi version. I also saw a viewsonic that dual boots to Win7 and android 2.2. The Xoom was much better than the viewsonic.

Hi Rod, yes I have one (for a couple of weeks now). Not quite sure what you are looking for in photo apps, you can check the android marketplace for a list (http://market.android.com/). The only one I have been using is the smugmug apps and a geotagging application. Unfortunately I am in a situation that hasnt given me a lot of time to just play.

There is a very interesting panorama app that I bought but havent played with yet, oh well, sooner or later. As far as general applications is it fantastic, battery life seem very very good even with all the radios (bluetooth, wifi, verizon) running. Youtube video plays extremely well. Having Flash capabilities is very convenient.

Finally it makes a SUPER GPS! Google Navigator works extremely well and a hi res 10 inch map is hard to beat!

I am very happy with the product, I have found a couple of androiid apps that I really like (like Swype) have not yet been ported for Honeycomb (v3 of the OS). Any of these apps that have crashed have not hung the system so I am yet (knock on wood) to have to reset the device.

Which ever product you choose I am sure you will enjoy
