profit and loss statement - 04-12-2011, 07:58 AM

Profit and loss statements = depression and drinking...they should be tied together...and not be looked at early in the morning. Time to sh*t or get off the pot. Thinking seriously about the later. Maybe after all the darlings go to college or get done with college I will have the time and spare money

Most business fail within the first 3 years, and most dont start out profitable right out of the box. And here is the one I hate to hear people say " At least you can write it off"
If you can afford it, hang in there, and give it some time. Otherwise, find something to make money at, and do photography as a hobby or supliment :)

well it has been more than a few years, but I haven't been in with both feet. My husband was just happy to be on the positive side!! I'm just in a funk and doing the taxes twice this month isn't helping!!!!

YMMV, but I'll gladly trade all this complicated income tax code for a simple consumption tax any day, but that's another thread for another forum. Dealing with taxes sux.

Auugh, I need to find a few more of those write offs. It seems I made a bit more in 2010 than 2009, but I've gone through all the receipts, credit card statements, and check registers, and I just can't write it all off.

I don't know you can use this thread to complain...it won't bother me...I think the tax system is all about who wants to lie/cheat/and try to get away with the most, not just who is willing to pay the their taxes... Oh and lets not forget about how many people can we hire to make it complicated to they can have jobs.... carry on...Mr. texham......
