Erich, I've been there several times. Altho it seems dark, it is not the end of the world. Now is the time to start looking, as well as getting prepared by cutting expenses and building the savings. I totally understand being laid off twice in the past. I agree with Ken 100%. Get rid of any unnecessary and start saving every penny possible. At least you have a two month notice. Just remember the old quote. "When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." It may not be of any comfort at the moment but so true. I've been where you were just with zero days notice. Depressed for a little bit but found it to probably be the best thing that has happened to me looking back. Good luck with the hunt. |
