What was his issue with the 5D2? What body does he prefer?

He's been using the 5dmk2 throughout the workshop. Yesterday he had a canon/hasselblad adapter mounted for some shots.

he said he would use the 5D MK II with lights, which then it does WORK!

In the limited workshops I've attended in person or online, this IS one of the best. He kept it simple and was thorough. He re-enforced knowing your gear as being part of a business and not necessarily the type/model of gear you have.
The quiz of the live audience was interesting, as you would see the range of experiences they brought in as an audience. He then helped them with their 5 minute assignment with shooting a model with a certain look. It showed them the pressure that they could be under in a time crunch. An example he later explained when he had a shoot for TI, where Zack got there an hour early and prepped, yet TI arrived late and went straight to the VIP room. TI's business manager went and grabbed Zack and said you only have a few minutes for this shoot, he's in the VIP room. He got there and TI was laid back against the sofa and Zack said, you gotta at least sit up for me, snapped one shot, adjusted, shot another, and TI got up and left. Zack billed that session.
Good stuff, a lot to absorb.

I really liked his project on Don Quixote and how he applied his musical interests to develop a personal project that tells a story.
I missed much of the day today, plan to watch the rerun for a while, after the "roof" shoot, which wasn't my favorite part.
Zach mentioned Jeremy Cowart - the Candid Frame had an interview with him a while ago, and I must say, the guy's work is pretty awesome.

Well I've said it once and said it again, this was the best $99 bucks I've spent yet. I've missed the majority of Day 1, so I'm going to watch that again right after this post.
