Those are mine!!!
j/k

I sent an email asking for a couple to use as backups. Explained about the event shooting. Got an email the following day and they were glad to send them. I should get them tomorrow. About 3 days transit time for the first one so maybe these will come in fast also.

Also, been reading the FAQ's. You could set up multiple readers on your sales reps phones and they could take payments as long as you have your account info in the app so it knows where to put the money. I guess you would have to trust your fellow man on that one.

So Sonny could have one, his wife also, and their best friends, cousin's daughter another one. All taking payments with the moohlah directed to Sonny's account.

Bank of America business accounts have a few different options. They are usually cheaper per charge/% fee and they will actually waive some of the setup fees, monthly fees, and even the % amounts if you haggle with them. They also offer an iPhone Swap device, and a Software pkg for laptops.

Used it yesterday afternoon for a T&I shoot. It worked as advertised. My wife and our assistant said they did not run into any problems.

What are y'all running the Square app on?
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S Android phone and it works just fine.
I have heard it works on the iPad. Not sure about the iPad2.

Just curious. According to Square FAQ, it will work on the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Hope so, I just ordered one (wifi only). Thanks to Abel, ordering it through TPF/Amazon saved me a few bucks.

Mike,

We used a iPhone 4 over AT&T's 3G network.

I got mine last night and did a $1 test on my credit card and tried to have it send a text receipt to my wife but it never showed up.

Have not tried the text receipt option but the email receipt option works perfect.

I think I will stick with a low percentage on I transactions, in the 1.30% range, and receive my funds the next business day. Square sounds too much like those other crooks...Paypal.

Is any business trying to make a profit considered a crook?

That one is...we have had a mutilpe problems with them in the past. Our corporate credit cards are now blocked from using that site. I have no problem with making a profit...
