note that Google Music only lets you upload stuff you already have; there is no buying of new stuff. For the life of me, I cannot imagine the value of paying to store stuff that you can only access when connected to the web, that you already have anyway, you don't share, and isn't so large that it won't fit on something you can keep with you at all times in all places, web access or not. As a backup, fine but then it is no different than any other remote file backup provider out there. As a source for streaming MP3s, not.

The cloud concept has a lot of really huge benefits, but storing music I already own with limited access ain't one of them.
