Any bird watchers here

A couple of these birds came flying over my backyard and landed on the neighbors house and I'm not sure what it is. I figured somebody on here has to be a bird watcher that can answer the question.

It's a Black bellied whistling duck. I'm not really a bird watcher but do shoot them with my camera sometimes.

I thought they were some sort of ducks as they were flying in but just a really odd place to see them I thought. There's no bodies of water around other than our pool and other neighbors around with pools.
