Then you might find today's Online Photographer useful: The Online Photographer: iPad View Cameras, Pathetic Print Papers, and Boxes!

Right now I get the free USPS boxes and flip them inside out if needed, but they have gotten wise to that and started printing on the inside too. Plus, the sizes I can get are often not the best for the job.

Not to be rude or judgemental but isn't getting free USPS boxes, turning them inside out, then shipping them with another shipper (or with USPS at a lower rate) a little......wrong?

Just depends on who is doing it. "wrong" is almost always ok if the person doing it is involved and it is beneficial to them...

The reason they do the printing on the inside and out now is to prevent people from ABUSING the advantage of free shipping materials from the USPS.

Just my opinion and view.

I actually ship pretty much everything USPS. Typically I turn it inside out for overseas shipping if I do not want priority. Lately they keep sending me Flat Rate boxes when I order Priority too, so I have to flip those.

Uline is a great company for supplies with fair prices. I have used them in the past. Right now, I have my used box pile from past online purchases that I stash away for when I need to ship something. Much rather recycle a box no matter the carrier than have to buy a new one.

Also if you are using the USPS boxes to ship thru FedEx or UPS pretty much no need to turn inside out they don't care, I get them all the time from customers.

My used box pile is ridiculous. hahah. Eventually I end up putting stacks in recycling.

Well, like I said I guess it is good I ship everything USPS anyway. My only issue is when I have to ship overseas or don't want flat rate.

Anyone else's post office move their opening hours to 8:30? That sucks now. When it was 7:30 the office was next to daycare and very handy on the way into work.

I could be very wrong but I would think that using priority flat rate boxes for anything other than priority flat rate would still fall under the "misuse" label.

I see Allan lives in Huntsville, maybe he is just thinking Job Security LOL. I seriously doubt that the USPS will be looking to throw the book at Keith for turning a flat rate box inside out. Besides he stated above that is not what he ordered.

I doubt anybody on this board is so straight that they have not broken any laws worse then misusing a USPS box.

I don't know. It would be interesting since the boxes are still USPS, I imagine you could get out of that one. I'd ask our branch, but they are...hmmm..friendly but not all that helpful at times.
