Went out to get some lightning shots... bolt hit the next block over... that was it for me.

I didn't even get spit on until just now. It's starting to sprinkle. The first wave just barely missed me. I'm going to get off my duff next time and go out and shoot the next storm...from a comfortable distance, of course.

^no just water droplets hitting the railing and bouncing back onto the filter.

As I was outside pieces of hail would hit the toes.

Lucky... we never get anything cool here in Houston... except hot temps, high humidity and lots of mosquitoes...

My parents live in Tulsa...tornado sirens going off near then for quite some time. Mostly straight line winds and hail. Three tornados touched down in central Oklahoma yesterday with fatalities.

I don't miss living in tornado alley but it's sure hard to be away from my parents when the storms are raging!
