Uh, you mean you kept Junior and Senior Member .... ? And Forum Regular doesn't sound as good as Senior Member ... like a step down. Hmmm. Can we play with this a little?

I like the last three, but let's brainstorm for something else on the others! :)

1- Disposable Camera
50- Point and SHOOT!
100-Is that 8mp?
250-SLR
500- Leica
1000-Hasselblad
2000-Hasselblad Digital

Maybe after 250 or so, members could choose their own (appropriate) titles?

Do you have a target number of members that keeps the site viable? What is the subscription goal for this forum?

Hey Mike...

The forum will always remain online even if we only have 5 or so members that use it... hehe.

My goal with this forum is to make it the best site available for California based photogs to share information just not on equipment and such but on photo locales, business practices & events etc.

One of the biggest advantages to a regional based forum that I have learned is the camaraderie that is established amongst members. Other photo forums out there that are world wide tend to make it pretty difficult to establish this same feel. I know with TPF we often have group meets and such just not to go out and shoot a landmark or something but to meet out for dinner and drinks and just hang out in general with others that share the same passion for photography. I would love for you guys to be able to get to the point where these types of get togethers are available. They are indeed a blast!

I have been feverishly in "recruitment mode" ever since the forum went online and will continue to do so for many many months to come. The forum as it is now has really flourished with a ton of great talented photographers and I can't wait to see what the future holds in store for us!

Thanks.
