Thumbs up 3-D / Stereo Photography - 05-12-2007, 01:08 PM

After doing a bit of looking around (and using the Search function) I haven't seen any mention of stereo photography in this forum.

Anybody dabble with it at all?

I've done a bit of it myself (still all film-based for now) and have tons of stereo pairs I haven't scanned/processed for online viewing yet, but if you want to see a few in either Anaglyph (red/blue glasses) or Cross-View (cross your eyes to see the pair in full-color stereo), then visit http://pixelpainter.com/stereo.html

I will take some pics of my custom dual-EOS setup that I have synched together so one button triggers both the AE/AF and shutter release on both cameras.

If you've shot stereo - add your samples/gallery links to this thread too!! :D

I've never encountered this kind of photography before, but it's fascinating to see the results. Very cool.

I grew up with Viewmasters and was always interested in doing this!

My next project is to design and machine a "real" adjustable mounting bracket for my twin SLRs instead of using Zip-ties to hold them together! LOL! :D
